The rains finally got here this morning and pretty much just keep coming. It's a nice slow rain which is very good. Usually all the rain comes like if someone dumped a giant bucket of water on us. Other times, it comes with very high winds and is sideways rain. I might go out there in my BK today, but I really don't want to go out there in the first place... I'm running out of grapefruit in the house, so I might have to, LOL!
It will very much help my trees and plants. I've put in a passive rain collection and watering trench grid system for this rare event. There's a bit of clay in the soil, so it does a good job of holding the water long enough for the plants to enjoy it.

I tried to ask my inner curmudgeon before posting, but he sprayed me with the garden hose…
Yes, I have squirrels in my brain…
