Jerry needs to get a life!!

Either that or the guy is just determined to keep his customers very happy. I ordered my Thriftys yesterday afternoon, and I just got an email from SWK telling me that my order has been packaged and shipped! On a Sunday night! I love that he's so determined to provide unbeatable service... but man, it's Sunday night! And nearly midnight were he is no less! Thanks... but go to bed!

What a great business man! When he get his new tartans in I'll be first in line for them.

Congratulations, he does a good job. You should now go wait by the door.

How do the pleat number and depth in a Thrifty SWK compare to a SWK Standard?

The last question is my biggest concern- I don't think I'll be able to wear my standards (and I know there's no way I can wear my heavyweight!) in the summer here in Denver. Are the thrifty's cooler than the standards?

OK- that's it for now. Thanks in advance.

And by the way- I got a Gordon and an Irish National.
I am a little late on this one, so by the time you read it, you'll have the kilts! I have a few of the SWK thrifties and the economies too. What most have said it pretty true. I think, that after you sew down the fell, they make excellant summer weight kilts.

Nuttin yet- should be tomorrow. I'll keep you posted. As long as I have them by the weekend, I'm happy. My wife and I are going away for the weekend, and the resort we're staying in has a swimming pool. It sounds like these kilts will be perfect for the pool area.

I have an SWK Thrifty Black Watch. I love it as an around the house kilt. No buckles, just Velcro. Very cool on the warmer days here. Boston 80 f. does not get as warm as Arizona, or the South. It is also comfortable to nip out to the grill in the Winter weather here -5 f. I cook on the barbie pretty much year round. I have only had two times that the snow was falling faster than the grill could melt it off the lid. Still made nice steaks anyway. Cold water wash gentle cycle, hang to dry then wear.
Works great for me. ---- Steve
