Plant the seed for the Ontario?

Hpw 'bout the Saskatchewan? I'm not even from Canada and I craves Saskatchewan.

And am I right in remembering that the Fraser Kirkbright PV has a little more "oomph" than the Marton Mills?

I agree totally grant, I saw the thread with Barb T's wonderful hand sewn wool IOS pleated to stripe and the back pleating was a wash of this beautiful color across the back.
I have a tendency to like a definite color strip on each pleat but I liked the way the pattern was unbroken all the way around, more like a pipe bands kilt.

Like I said I'm glad you are ordering and I can see the results before I decide for sure but I think it will be great.

You guys could just order the Ontario tartan 10.5 oz wool from Fraser and Kirkbright and have Pete make it up into a kilt. Alternatively see if they will do a run of the 13, 14, or 16oz wools. Great tartan.

It's too bad they don't have the Manitoba tartan.

Wouldn't 10.5 oz be too light?

    Manitoba, eh? Calling Mr. Kilt:

It would be too light for my preference (I have some F&K 10.5 oz samples) at my place, but it's available

Hmmm! Poll time again? There is a couple of people expressed interest already and hey Ontario is Canada! Isn't Gordon Kirkbright also a member here? maybe we can nudge him to make a special run in 14 - 16 oz.
