For any kiltmakers who find themselves with too much facric laying around, I hereby offer to take it off your hands at no charge. In order to facilitate the delivery of this material, I will provide my measurements so that this cloth may be fashioned into a kilt.
Again, I offer this service to you at no cost.

Sigh
I have 'lost' a red kilt - Royal Stuart tartan - and one with a blue and white pattern, and a strip of four colour forest type military DPM I was working on, but 'found' an almost finished grey pinstripe and a length of desert type DPM whilst looking for these straying items.
If my memory contiues to decline I will soon be able to watch all the detective series on TV without remembering the story, and re read all my books without realising how it is going to turn out. Though that would mean I would need to remember how to work the remote - and how to read - perhaps I should work on an entertainment program that turns on when I sit in a particular chair....

And I thought I was the only one! Well, I did know about W2F. I wonder how many of us have bid against each other on EBay?

Me, I just wait around until I see W2F or Alan at a kilt night, or over for dinner, or at a games or something. They usually bring me something fun to play with. I believe their behavior is called enabling?

Only cedar chips? That's good it means you weren't board with it?

Hi, My name is Julie
and I go with the motto "He/she who dies with the most fabric wins."
I have a one bedroom apt, and my bedroom is my sewing room. 6 machines that are functioning and accessible, 1 storage closet full of fabrics (ok, so it is fake furs. I do design stuffed animals) 10 yards of 60" dark green heavy weight wool, 8 yrds of black, a bunch of other misc wools and tartans, and no time to sew them.
My bed is in my living room. Does that mean I have to much fabric?

The former rec room/man cave houses my two sewing machines, layout table and has attached five large closets with shelves. Said closets have doors that require a bit of weight to close over the stash of fabrics within. The room contains four cabinets loaded with yarn, threads, buttons, Velcro, fastening hardware, binding tape, elastic ribbon, and many other notions. A set of toolboxes that house knitting needles, crochet needles, continous knitting needles, sewing machine accessories.
The former third bedroom houses the fabric overstock......
I am not requesting assistance as I should be sewing for at least thirty more years.

I must confess that I have 4 x 8 yard pieces of fabric piled on the dresser waiting for my attention, + 2 I am working on, + 6 more in UK (at my brother's place, because they would have put me over the baggage weight limit). AND I want more!

Nope - I use fresh cedar chips for the moths - I find that when they are eating the cedar, they leave the wool alone.
