Me too. The sleeping thing. I hear it's overrated, and keep telling myself that 4 hours is adequate, and I can sleep at my desk anyway.

Will someone please cut off this man's shift finger?
As for me, after ordering may first kilt from Kiltstore I was Googling around for accessories. IIRC, I first hit upon Bravehearts but just couldn't, for the life of me, follow the forum structure (I wasn't active on any other forums at the time and a bit of an online forum nimnal (that's and Orcan version of numpty)) and didn't go for the flaming and acrimony. I followed a link to X-Marks from there and found a much more enjoyable, flame-free experience. 18 months later I have 15 kilts that fit, 3 that don't, 3 on the way, and 55+ yards of Gordon Modern 18 oz to use and/or otherwise unload on unsuspecting clansmen and general admirers of lovely tartan. Plus about 18 pairs of hose, 3 sgians, untold potential numbers of sporrans, flashes, and coordinating shirts I'd never have otherwise purchased. If not for Thorfinn's I couldn't justify all the expense, so thanks to everyone out there. You know who you are.

Wanted a moderately priced kilt for my 40th birthday. Found SWK somewhere in my searching, so google "stillwater kilt review" and got Jimmy Carbomb's detailed analysis of the whole kilt and kaboodle.
Happily browsing for nearly 3 years.

I was reading Matt Newsome's articles in the Scottish Banner and went to his website/blog. Clicked on the X-Marks web link and the rest is history. I have loved poking around this site ever since.
Thanks Matt!!!

Instead of composing my own answer, go back to page 1 of this thread and re-read Tattoo Bradley's reply. My story is exactly like his.

That's a good question, but I don't remember. Guess I'm getting old(er).
