Actually, the kilt was just for day to day wear. In battle they wore a full sequin gown. The idea was to blind your opponent with glamor.

I was asked by a young woman in front of a bar here in NY. I said, "you first!"
Without blinking she lifted up her tiny skirt to show off her white panties.
"Um, I have to go back in now and keep drinking," I muttered. I was not prepared.

I must be going wrong somewhere but nobody ever asks me "the question". One or two have found out by themselves, mind you, although I always wear something when dancing just to disappoint the ladies.

When we're away at Rugby and there's a crowd of us I tend to say "same as him only smaller/larger" (depending who is asking)

In a democracy it's your vote that counts; in feudalism, it's your Count that votes.

I was asked the question once by a (very shapely and attractive) blonde in a really skimpy outfit. I responded by asking if she was wearing undergarments herself. She said, "Nope, but I don't have time to show you right now, I've got to get to work," and walked out the door of the convenience store where this took place. My turn to look somewhat astonished.
