Might I suggest wearing them instead? There are cheaper (and tastier) food sources out there you know.

Ron,
You and I have the same problem.... I have a forty year old Tank in size 28 that does not wrap around a now size 36 torso.... Ahhh the kilt night dinners.

I PT to much to worry about that I have had the same size waist since college gained 40lbs since but still 32-34 waist. Wife hates me for it.
I can't wear kilts everyday especaily to work so waiting is no big deal.
I am trying to talk the LT into letting me wear my Navy tartan one day I figure all we wear is shorts and t-shirts any way so what would it hurt.

UK Length at The Kilted Nation
Just wanted to jump on this thread, as I notice some folks not happy with the lengths we have available at the store.
To be clear, Utilikilts will ONLY let me order their product in the 23 inch length. This is not my choice.
I offer a chop option at cost. It is a total pass through of what my local seamstress charges me. I make no money on this.
Yes, if you need a 21.5 inch UK, or any of their standard lengths, there is no extra charge from Utilikilts, as long as they have it in stock, or as long as they have an unhemmed kilt in stock that still needs to be cut to length. If you ask them to take an existing 23" kilt and make it shorter, they will charge you for it.
It is there as an option from The Kilted Nation, simply because we can't get the shorter (or for that matter, longer) UK's, and sometimes, UK does not have the shorter kilts in stock.
By all means, if you can get it from them directly for cheaper, I don't begrudge you this.

UK Sizing instructions to be updated
Your point is taken. I'll add the UK official sizing instructions to the TKN web site.
However, as a general rule of thumb, for 90% of my customers, their kilts are one size larger then their pants size.

Now that makes sense Brad. I'm a UK Short. I have 15 Utilikilts and MANY of them I've had to have chopped - even a couple scratch and dent ones. Seems like the long way is the way they have them made up.
