I'm a piper...from Beloit. Simple.
My avatar is the piping version of the NBA and MLB logos. I made it from a photo of myself playing.

As I recall, Sportkilt created an LSU tartan after the 2003 national championship. I'm surprised they didn't bring it back this year.
As for my name and avatar. I needed something to differentiate myself from all the other McMath's with email accounts and since I'm a McMath in Texas, I'm now McMathTX. It was easier to just use this as my name on several sites. My avatar is a picture of the love of my life and me at a Celtic Christmas one year.

My avatar is Zakk Wylde in his Utilikilt (though it will change often)
My name doesn't describe on how I dress (I'm more of a t-shirt and jeans/kilt type of guy), but a play on ZZTop's "Sharpdressed Man." My brother and I actually took the lyrics of the song and changed them to make them Scottish clothing themed.

Family Tartan and the name my parents gave me at birth. I don't have enough imagination to come up with anything else.

Hunting Fraser just because I don't have much imagination. It's my tank.
Amoskeag is the Abenaki word for "A good place to fish"; specifically the area at the bottom of the large waterfall on the Merrimack river in Manchester. The salmon would school up there on the runs. The mills that developed there were called the Amoskeag Mills and were the largest in the world for quite a while during the 19th C. I needed a name for my music performance company specializing in 19th C popular music (see where I'm going with this). Being a good Victorian opportunist I "borrowed" the name and the name recognition. Amoskeag Music. It's all quite on the up and up, as I have it registered with State of NH. There is also Amoskeag Bank (defunct), Amoskeg TV, Amoskeag Taxi etc... It seems to have worked because we have achieved a one name status "We'll hire Amoskeag" Our friends just call us "The Skeags" Oh Yeah, It's pronounced Am-a-skeg

My name comes from my kilt tartan being Dark Island, and the avatar is a tapestry called Ulberstone.

Animal for the Muppet (I'm a drummer), K for first initial.
My avatar is Angus McGonagle, the Gargling Argyle Gargoyle, who gargles Gershwin gorgeously.
In an altogether foreseen coincidence, he's also a Muppet

This Celtic knot is a symbol for protection. The ancient Celts used it to decorate the shields of warriors, the clothing of children, and to protect the sick. If you ever receive one of my kilts, I use the avitar as my signature on the inside lining of the kilt.
My name is a concatenation of the ancient clan Chattan and my last name Catanach which was part of the great clan.

Well, I like the sound of the word "wombat", and my family nickname is "Muppet", so my first e-mail and then my internet names are a combination of the two.
As for my avatar - I've always enjoyed stories of animals that don't act or look like animals are supposed to. So when I found this, it seemed perfect for my avatar here.
