    That's the new band under the Hong Kong SAR government; you can see the different badge on the pipe banner. The Isle of Man tartan was used by the Royal HK Police Pipe Band (pre-1997 handover); my apologies for not clarifying that in my original post.

    I don't blame you Chris, that is a wonderful tartan. I wanted something a little lighter, brighter in color this time. Most of my kilts are what I'd call more earthy tones. I do really like the Manx Hunting though.
    Somewhat reminds me of this tartan and kilt.
