Colorado March Kilt Night
Ok all you Colorado Kilties, it's time to start thinking about the March kilt night. We normaly have it on the second Saturday which would be the 8th and is in two weeks. Has anyone run across a place they think would be great? We've talked a little about down here in the Springs at Jack Quinns but I don't know how many would want to travel down here. We have a load of newbies up in the Denver area and I think both of them from where I work would show up again. Let's all weigh in on our thoughts.

If we do Pints again, we should make sure to get tables. There's a Scottish flag upstairs that we could all congregate around. Also Jackie and I ate here http://www.caseysbistro.com/location.html a little while ago. It was pretty darn nice and homey! So there are my thoughts. (As a little side note, come the 8th, I'll have my new USAK and A_Hay sporran to show off... not to brag or nothin'...)

Looks like a nice place. Won't be the easiest to get to for those of us down in the Springs.

Good point. What about the Celtic Crossing? I wanted to join you all there in January- it looked like a great place. I could certainly go for that.

That would be great. If we have a good number confirmed to show, we can contact them and let them know so we can get a table in the dining room.

I also just thought of O'Malley's in Palmer Lake, that also might be an idea.

Hey guys
I'd love to join you ,BUT I'm way out here in New Castle. Maybe sometime in the spring when Vail Pass is clear and Glenwood Canyon is passable we could hold a get together out this way. Do you always meet the second weeend of the month?

O'Malley's sounds great to me, much shorter drive.
McNulty - We try to but sometimes we end up with other things going. August and September the 2nd Saturday is either the Highlands Ranch games or the Estes Park games so not many people are at our little meetings

If I get my USAK in time, I'll try to be there! I put in for a rush, but it's going to take an extra week because Rocky was out of the tartan I wanted (although he had already ordered a new supply.) I ordered a week ago, so I might just squeak by. Otherwise, I'll definitely be ready for April!

Don't let not having your kilt stop you from showing up. You will get the chance to meet those that are there and get a few ideas on accessories etc. Besides, the more there the merrier.
