I don't know if he still lives here, but he has a condo here in NYC. It's known only because he and his neighbors have had a big lawsuit going against one another for years now. So maybe it's the city smog which preserves him!

I think he aged all at once and then stuck.

But is it accurate to compare a picture when he was made up for a film part with one when he wasn't?

There are many male actors who look wonderful on screen and terrible in real life - make up can work both ways.

But the first photo, the one with the makeup, was 20 years ago. The one next to it is now, in real life. So he currently looks just as good as he did 20 years ago with makeup!

I think Trefor's point was that the first photo showed Connery made up to look older than he was at the time.

In that case, the makeup artist was remarkably prescient. I do detect a little bit of work done in the newer photo, however. Whether you're in New York, Spain, or the Caribbeans, not everything is as it appears to be when you're from Hollywood.
