I just saw his death announcement this morning. I spent many an hour in college, and quite a bit of time after that playing D&D. Rest in Peace Gary.

I've only played it once for a little while, but it was fun. I like RPG's. OK, let's face it, I'm a geek, but I'm a cool, kilted geek!

    Fare thee well.

If only I played a mage and had enough points to resurrect.....
    He will be missed.

I've still got a scroll of resurrection. I'll bring him back!

In all seriousness though, RIP Gary, and thank you for all the great times!

Thank you, Gary. Rest in peace.

    BTW,

Stephen Colbert did a nice little tribute at the end of last night's show. He (or one of his writers, at least) was obviously a player and /or DM at some point.

Since I wasn't a member here when Gary died I didn't have the opportunity to add my condolences.

I have been and still am a geek. RPG's have given me more laughs and fun with friends than I could ever have imagined. D&D wasn't my main game, but it was the start for all the rest!

Thanks for all you did for us, Gary!

I started D&D with the blue book in '79. Gary was a God I looked for at GenCon '83. His work & passion helped shape who I am.
    Pass easily, Gary.
