Mike: To go to Upload, and then choose one of the categories? Yes, that's how he loaded the photo he has in there and it worked just fine (I think he used a url, since he has a website and can host his own photos).
When he logged in, the album he'd made before wasn't there, and he didn't have a chance to make another album (we weren't sure if you guys wanted us doing that or not). So he just uploaded to the Me In My Kilt album.
Sorry if I'm misunderstanding.
Thanks again!

I just up-loaded a test from my Computor with out any problem other than the pic being distorted.
Now how can i delete it?
Another question. If i remove the pic from Doc files will it vanish on-line?
How many grey hairs does Mike have?

It works just fine now.
It works just fine now. In fact, this is far better than the previous way. Load my pictures to my thumb drive take them to work, etc.. and post away.

I tried using a photo from photo bucket. Size is only 44kb but it gives me this error:
"Sorry, Chef: Bad File - No File or File is too Large or of the Wrong MIME Type"
Any help?

Chef,
Did you I use the image's "Direct Link". That is the one that worked for me like a charm.
Cheers

Tried that and it worked like a charm. I was opening up the photo and copying the url since I thought that is what the system wanted.
Thanks Jamie

Positive Feedback
The new gallery is great! As I've learned how to use it, I haven't had any problems uploading or posting IMG tag pictures in threads. It's very nice that I can click on a member's name over in the gallery and it will bring up links to all the picture's that person has uploaded. It works out very well.
Thank you.

I like the gallery too. It's nice to be able to, say...find pictures of a given user, stuff like that.
Here's my two cents. Keep BOTH picture "forums" open. why?
Well, for example, think to the photo threads on recent Burns Nights. Those threads have lots of pictures which are all linked by a common idea, in our case the "Nor Cal Burns Night". While it's currently possible to add one or two or three photos to a thread about "Nor Cal Burns Night", when viewing the photos, there's not much context to link them together. The same goes for Cessna2towser and pour1malt's Scotland trip photo threads.
i admit that I haven't tried the slide show function, yet. That might answer my thoughts.
