    I'm just glad I wasn't drinking my coffee when I saw those touristy things. I'd be cleaning up my monitor (and my keyboard, and everything else).

    I have a couple of retired regimental tams with tartan backing I wear with jeans, etc. Looks pretty good, in fact. I even have an old 92nd regiment of foot badge (pre-1881) I put on a Gordon tam.

    But I would never wear a tartan bonnet. That one that is "popular here in Scotland, especially with the tourists" is all the prood we need.
