I begin with the sweep-and-tuck. Usually only lasts about a measure or two. Then I just ignore it because a plain black pair of bike shorts hides the naughty bits and I can concentrate more on playing. (I was a rock drummer for a number of years before becoming kilted, and now occasionally play when asked to sit in. I also play barefoot, but not barebutt if I can help it. If going "regimental" and asked to play, I rein in my wilder nature and just play along with a modicum of restraint...)
