Kansas City Kilt Night?

I will be visiting in the Kansas City area the week of 6-12 April. Part of that time will be business (8-11). I'll be at the Downtown Marriott Hotel.

Anything happening that week in the KC area?

I know the area around the Mariott hotel like the back of my hand now. See my waiting in KC thread. I dont know whats going on in KC but if I have a reliable vehicle running and some time off I would be pleased to meet ya!

If you were to arrive early you could do first Fridays. That is where the art galleries open on Friday night in the crossroads district and people flock to see what's going on. I even saw 2 Delorians on the same night one Friday.
On the 6th at 2 pm Jim Riggs in concert at the Music Hall. Jim Riggs plays Theater Organs. I've seen him in concert and it was fascinating. He even brought an old silent movie and played along as they used to. The Music Hall is an art deco building 1 block from the Mariot.
If you've never been to KC I would suggest the WW1 Memorial and museum, newly remodeled and fascinating.
