It's been a really bad flu season here in Vancouver. We have had a very mild winter which has exacerbated the situation.
Keep warm, drink plenty of fluids, and catch up on your favourite shows/movies. The only benefit of being under the weather is an excuse to do nothing productive for a while.

Now, now, if you're feeling that bad now, don't go out tonight, even if you feel better. You've got to give your body time to recuperate.
Too many people these days try to rush themselves when they're ill. All that does is sabotage your healing and spread the illness to others.
Curl up, keep yourself warm, and drink plently of fluids. Sorry, but only non-alcoholic ones, as alcohol is a dehydrator.

Get well soon!
I've always found a nice cup of tea helps me get through whatever I happen to have come down with. Cold, flu, fever, sore throat, muscle soreness, exhaustion, hyperactivity, hypothermia, hyperthermia, et cetera ad neaseum. All can be endured with the aid of a tasty brew. Mmmmm… Earl grey…
