I have a kilt in MacMedic tartan (if you do a search on the terms Newsome and MacMedic you'll find my review of it) and I love it... it's deeply symbolic to me, and you can't beat Matt Newsome's work... but I confess that the number one comment I receive on it is "hey, why are you wearing a tablecloth?"
The tablecloth comment is something I am trying to avoid. It is going to be bad enough answering the "Why are you wearing a skirt?" question. I really don't need the double insult of "Why are you wearing a skirt made out of a tablecloth?"
It really irks me when ignorance leads the charge to insult.
