    Thanks. I knew it didn't look quite right, just didn't have time to look it up just then. After travelling most of the U.S. and lots of Europe and Great Britain, that's got to be, mile-for-square-mile, the most beautiful place I've ever seen.

    Not only the time of year, but also the amount of time you have available matters a lot. Although the area doesn't look very big on the map, it still takes time to get from place to place. Unless you're going to have a lot of time, I would limit the visit to one area. Otherwise you're only going to get the highlights and spend the rest of your time traveling between them.
