Hello and a warm from rainy Boston, Massachusetts.
If you are oiling up the sewing machine, check out Barb T's Book The Art of Kiltmaking It will educate you on all the fine points of a quality kilt. If you have any questions, check into the D.I.Y. Forum where there is advise aplenty. Also Barb T is a very active member of this group. The first kilt that I made from scratch is still my favourite, even though it is far from perfect.
Hop into the chair, tell your family you will see them in a couple of weeks, and surf away on all the boards here.
Enjoy Ye Rabble.
