Here at the equator it is both hot and humid. A slightly more vigorous walk will soon have me sweating into my trousers. That is why I used to go around exclusively in shorts on weekends. But now that I have my 2 Amerikilts, the swishing of the kilt fabric creates a nice cooling breeze when I walk. It's like a built-in crotch cooler!

Well, it's pretty warm here in the summer (80s-90s). I find my 4-5 yard wool kilts fine. No difference to a UK, really. But not with kilt hose (except for formal occasions). Teva style sandals or flip-flops, boat shoes with no socks. Not exactly traditional but very comfortable. (Can't wait for summer!)

I am from Missouri, and it gets warm in the summer. I have been asked if I was warm. My response was "Are you sweating?" ans. "Yes". My reply "No difference then".
