I saw this movie back in 1987 while in Scotland, my Aunt had it in her collection. Funny that it's come up because my Uncle and I were just talking about buying a copy off Amazon on Sunday night. Good from what I remember of it....I was only 11 at the time.

I've seen it, and it's not bad. You gotta remember that it was a 50's family movie, so don't expect the same sort of plot as the Liam Neeson version... still, worth watching/owning if the price is right.

I think I saw it many years ago when I was little...
My father once acted with Richard Todd in a TV programme.

I'm gonna have to check this film out....
BTW, when is Disney gonna make an animated Scotsman film??
I for one think it would be hysterical...even if not terribly accurate

I saw it when I was a kid, I loved it! The big deal was Rob Roy's legendary leap across a vast precipice. wham! Zowie! Glynnis Johns was the mushy girl stuff that we manly guys just sneered at.....after all, we were about eight years old then, quite grown up.
