Kiltlifter's a bit malty/sweet, but it certainly packs a punch!

sounds like a Wee Heavy ale. I have not seen it in NY. I should like to try it.

How would it compare with Belhavens' wee heavy ale? (if you've ever had it)

Not only is the kilt pleated in front its one of the most schizophrenic tartans I've ever seen.

The brew is made by Four Peaks Brewing Company here in Arizona. If you like the logo and want a t-shirt or sweatshirt here's the website for their merchandise. http://www.fourpeaks.com/merchandise.asp

They plastered the Phoenix Highland Games with advertising signs. I wanted one bad...but just didn't wanna rip one down. Ayn (I think) was kind enough to purloin one for me so if arrested my charges would only be receiving stolen property rather than theft.

Interestingly the company is named for the Four Peaks visible to the East from Phoenix. A very very very remote area of Arizona where bubonic plague and bears hang out. Its still very common for naive hikers and hunters to find themselves in deep doo-doo up on the Four Peaks.

If it were me in charge of Four Peaks Brewing's advertising the logo would have a bear paw reaching out and lifting the kilt...

    Whoa!!!

All you rabble with bars in your basement check this out.

They have a Kiltlifter tin sign for a mere $25.00 Seems like a "must have" for any kilties home bar.

Here's where to order up one.

It's a bit like that - doesn't have the nutty flavors that Belhaven's got, though.
