Va Pork Festival

Is anyone here planning on attending this event. Tickets are $25 online and they usually sell out a couple of weeks before the event. It is always on a Wednesday afternoon, so it is difficult for most working people tp make it, but the festival is worth taking a day off if you are close enough. All food and beverages are included in the price of the tickets. This includes beer and some other alcoholic beverages, but I haven't seen any single malt or Guinness. Still it is a good buy. The food portions are small, but you can go back as many times as you like. I have yet to attend kilted, but I am thinking about it this year. I will definitely go kilted if any of the Va or NC rabble are willing to show up. Here is the link to their website. One other thing, the festival is held regardless of what the weather does on the scheduled day, as is stated when you buy your tickets.

I don't know, having gone hog wild in Memphis a couple of years I have a taste for Memphis BBQ. But, that sounds like a fun road trip. I'll have to talk to my social secretary (read swmbo if you are unmarried)
