No need to apologize. I think that's a great reason to wear them.

Here is their website in case you want to delve further into what they have to offer. http://www.whitesoutdoor.com/
Unfortunately mine don't look that nice anymore, too much firewalking and running over scorched earth (coupled with life on the farm).

The Doc Marten Triumph in brown will work well with the belt.

I have a non-zippered version of what you posted. I've had them for two years, and have worn them 2-3 times a week all that time. I think I have about another 6 months on them before the sole wears through in the heel.

Doesn't anybody wear sandals? I like bare feet and Birkenstocks with a casual kilt. Feels great.
Cheers,
Rick

Yes, I have pictures over in the gallery. There's a link to my pics in my signature.
One kind I wear is the kind with the ankle straps, another is the slides. That's usually during the summer out here in the desert...
I prefer the low cut lace up boots whether the hiking boots like I talked about in my other post, or the black leather boots that aren't quite as casual. Those seem to be the only boots I have right now...

I tried to ask my inner curmudgeon before posting, but he sprayed me with the garden hose…

Indeed I wear sandals. This thread, however, specifically addressed boots. As often as not, I wear shoes with my casual kilt outfit rather than boots.
