Ferguson Britt sporran
WELLL, it came yesterday.....a black Duin Uasal. I am very impressed. As most know from my posts I do 18th century Highlander, but am putting together a modern kit....just need the Matt Newsome kilt. (I decided to become more involved in my local Scottish society....Central PA Society and they want me on the board since I'm retiring from public education in June....so that means modern functions.) I would recommend the Ferguson sporrans to anyone.....a distinctive look! Malcolm

Matt
Please let us know as soon as they are available, I love the Muskrat sporran, in fact I'm wearing it now, but now I think I may need a Ferguson Britt with Black leather as well.

They are available now, I just won't have them up on the web site till tomorrow sometime. But if anyone is interested...
I have the following Glengyle designs, all in black leather, all with the smaller cantle size as the previous sale sporrans (which is why they are on sale -- he's wanting to move all his old stock of smaller cantles).
Skunk (narrow white stripes), black leather: $325
Skunk (really wide white stripes, and rather longer hair than usual, black leather: $325
Black mink (this one looks like black overdyed, but it's not; the mink really is that black naturally), black leather: $335
Blue Iris Mink, black leather. I have two of these, one with a scalloped cantle, one with standard. $335 each.
Then I have one that is a new prototype. I can't recall the name of the style off the top of my head right now, but it looks basically like a large Glengyle sporran, made with the new larger cantle, but with brass tacks in a decorative pattern across the cantle. This one is in brown leather, and made with Russian Blue Frost Fox fur, which is luxuriously thick. This one would ordinarily sell for $425, but we are offering this one at a special introduction price of $375, which is the standard price for most of the fur FB sporrans.
Like I said, I'll probably have pics up and on the web site tomorrow sometime, and I'll post that info in a new thread when it's up. But until now, if anyone wants to go ahead and put their name on any of these, just let me know.
(And sorry for the hijack!)
