What do you do when you're bored?
I pull wings of of dead flies, and attempt amateur lobotomy reversal...
How about you?

I read the statistics on the forum: number of views, number of posts... I sometimes look at what other users are viewing, and then go look at the statistics on those threads. Sometimes, I even read the "FAQ" and pages like that...
I tried to ask my inner curmudgeon before posting, but he sprayed me with the garden hose…
Yes, I have squirrels in my brain…

I am so seldom bored that It' almost a relief when it occurs. Then I sit back and enjoy it.

In the daytime:
Go out into the garden and work there.
Go to my workshop and make something.
In the evening:
Make a lovely gin based concoction, savor it, and repeat (Note: this doesn't make me less bored, but somehow I don't mind it any more)*
Cheers

Knit, stitch, read - repeat as necessary!
I have so many projects on the go, it's not that I'm ever bored in general - just tired of that one project for a while.

Hmmm.... Well, depending on how much time I have, I may surf the Web a bit, pick the banjo for awhile, mess around in the workshop for an hour or so, or go fly fishing for a few hours.

Now that's what I call a plan for combating boredom!

I am very rarely bored.
But, when I am, I do the following:
1) Make a cup of tea.
2) Read a book.
3) Do a mental Socratic dialogue with the ideas in the book.
4) Repeat as necessary.

Play Guitar Hero, solve sudoku, go out to a local bar. Unfortunately I haven't been playing the real guitar since I started playing Guitar Hero. Ironic.
