Congrats ! I got mine on saturday , and I totaly understand what you mean about petting the sporran, it's SO incredibly soft!

It almost seems a shame to wear it when I can get so much pleasure just holding it and stroking it!

Congrats, and I know the feeling of beaver. I often times catch myself just stroking my sporran.
