Right now, my desktop has some sort of Scotland wallpaper with a silhouette piper.

For months and months before that, it was solid colored.
"To the make of a piper go seven years of his own learning, and seven generations before. At the end of his seven years one born to it will stand at the start of knowledge, and leaning a fond ear to the drone he may have parley with old folks of old affairs." - Neil Munro

I cannot resist this: I'll be in Tobermory/Balamory on June 4th - do you think I'll bump into Angus whilst I'm there?!!

    Take care,

Having overcome some of my technical problems (with the aid of some good pals hereabouts), I can now show you the photo I have just made my desktop image. It is one I took at Connel, near Oban in Scotland last June, and is an evening view westwards across the Firth of Lorn towards Lismore and Morven.

This was the view from the restaurant of The Oyster Inn where I was staying, and where Jim and I will be staying for three nights this June.

    Take care,
    Ham.

Unfortunately, mine involves weapons...Not that I like Guns, but because they are a big part of what I do...If I had to describe the scenario, I am providing Tactical/Combat field care to an injured casualty (care under fire) and my partner is covering my six...The importance of the action is a photo of me pulling an asherman chest seal from the back of his kit...It doesn't get any better than that! Wish I could share it with you, but if anyone is interested, send me an e-mail or PM and I will gladly forward the photo.

    Best Regards,

    Chase
