Well, I finished my 5-yard "lefty knife-pleated" X-Marks tartan kilt and gotten into and out of the car many times so far. I think it really does lay down better as I get in, and there seems to be very little wrinkling as a result. I also don't feel like I'm sitting on wadded up cloth as often as usual. I'm not so sure that this is really all that significant, and sweeping with my other hand is taking some getting used to. I had no idea how my personal sweeping style had become second nature until donning a kilt which requires the opposite sweeping direction.
The good news is that at the pub last night no one cried out that my pleats were on backwards! (At least no one was brave enough to say this to may face! )
I tried to get some photos over the weekend, but none were presentable. I'll try again soon.

Very nice for sure. Welcome to the brotherhood. Interesting the flashes are cut on the bias like that. Only other place I've seen it is with SportKilt flashes...but what do I know?

Hot dang! Welcome to the clan Alex!
Be you the only X Marks tartan kilt in Scotland??
Don't recall if dwg69 is in Scotland or England...think that's three X Marks kilts in the UK now though with Ham's.
