Does anyone have a picture of McKenzie Ancient pleated to sett? I have the modern..pleated to stripe (Sportkilt... ya i know, love it though), i've seen the ancient pleated to stripe,(picture) but i have never even seen the ancient in person, yet alone pleated to set on a kilt. Thinking (well not thinking much, gonna do it) of getting my first 8yrd trad in 13 ounce. Thinking scottish lion btw..advice on quality and price appreciated of course.
And now that this post had nothing to do with pleating MacDonald..
Be Well

Lyrd,
Best hope would be checking out Clan MacKenzie websites and looking for pics, probably have some galleries. Also don't overlook Google Images, a long shot but worth it. And you can search this forum and look for MacKenzie hits that show as the show us your pics forum.

Hmm, guess i will just finally have to attend some of those Clan gatherings. Hehe. I've checked out McKenzie sites..some have great picks of the modern and Seaforth..even weathered, but any pics of the ancient are just swaths not actually pleated on kilts. Maybe i'll just buy some and pleat it to see what it looks like.
