chess sgian dubh

I'm looking for a sgian dubh with a knight's head carved on the top of the handle.

Anybody seen one like this before?

I'm thinking of getting a plastic handled sgian and lopping off the top and JB Welding on a plastic knights head then paint it up.

I haven't seen any like that, but your idea could work.
It might be difficult to find a match and you might want to just coat the whole handle in the same coloured plastic rather than paint, but it would look damn good.

Humm I have never seen one like that ....it would be cool.
I collect chess sets and there are a few that come to mind that just the stand alone piece might work. I know this might sound weird, but check E-Bay, they have a few sellers that have stores that sell chess sets of all sizes. You might be able to get a deal on one piece if you contact them.

No I think it would make it a Staunton Dubh!
It would be neat to see if one could be made form a reproduction of one of the Isle of Lewis pieces!
