How to Hang Your Kilt

I posted this tutorial almost a year ago and people are still missing the most important part.

FREE HANGERS!!!

No more buying expensive stuff. No more searching e-bay for deals or fancy new gadgets.
Just a quick stop at the clothing store of your choice in your local mall.

Oh, and baysidboy, the two loops inside the waistband are not meant for hanging your kilt for long periods of time. They are there to let you hang your kilt when you don't have any hangers and need to take it off for a short time, such as in the bathroom. Just hang the kilt by the loops over the coathook on the back of the door.
If you hang a good quality Wool kilt by the little hanger loops for a long time, or very often, the fabric will distort and not look good when you wear it.

Great tip. I've actually been doing that for years. I also splurge frae time tae time and spend a wee bit on a set of quality cedar hangers. I don't have a moth problem, I just love the smell of cedar (then agin maybe that's why I don't have a problem wit moths ). If you check a home goods store like Bed Bath & Beyond you can find the cedar ones rather cheap. I think my last set of 4 were well bellow $10. U.S. , I'd even say below $8. They are extremely well made and have super strong spring clips and the parts that touch the fabric have soft yet tear resistant rubber on both sides. Just a thought if you wanted some good hangers tae mingle wit the free ones.
