The Kilt walk plans are moving forward very nicely.



This will be a charity event to raise funds for the a restoration of a church in Scotland


The Lamont Vault Restoration is an effort spearheaded by the Friends of Kilfinan Church members to restore a section of the Church where many of the Lamont ancestors are buried. The Church recently completed a similar restoration of the main sanctuary and much archeological information was gleaned in the process. The restoration was started in 1996 and finished just in time for Christmas 2004. It is now a great example of 13th century church architecture and used regularly by its members. Thus, this endeavor that links us to our past and has the added benefit of potentially helping future historians with their research.
