New Cilt Pin
Here's a pic of my new cilt pin to go with my new welsh cilt. It is quite heavy.

I tried to ask my inner curmudgeon before posting, but he sprayed me with the garden hose…

I went right off sword kilt/cilt pins some while ago, Derek, but your new one has character, which I like. Can you tell us the overall length of the pin? It looks a little 'stubby' in the photo - not that there's anything wrong with that! A well-chosen purchase, I'd say. Take care, Ham.

Like the nicely Celtic targe design.

The majority of kilt pins seem to be on the sword theme. I was in Stirling yesterday and was looking in an antique shop which had a nice selection of antique pins. Mostly on the sword theme again though.
