Loch Norman Games in April
Is anyone going to be able to make it to the Loch Norman Games in April? They are the weekend of the 16th in Lake Norman, NC right outside of Charlotte. Highlandtide will be there and it would be great to have people from the board stop by

Hi Deetz,
I'll be there.
It looks as though it will be on Sunday.
I'll have to come by to wish Hank a Happy
Birthday. 8)

As far as I know I will be there. I'm working up in Elon on Friday afternoon and night and it's just a shot down the road from there. Besides, my Dad lives in Mt. Pleasant so I can squeeze in a visit with him and have free room and board. I'd be rightly pleased to drop by for a howdy-do.

Donnie and Mike,
Are either of you guys going to be there on
Sunday?
If so I'll maybe we can meet up by
Hank's tent.
I'll be between there, the Clan Wallace tent,
and hopefully the Whisky tasting at 2 pm.

Mint Hill and Loch Norman Games
Hi all,
I am the blufaced Shawnee Indian / Scot. I made it to the Mint Hill Games.
Although the weather was cold and windy, I did enjoy the games and the music tent.
I also managed to get to Loch Norman on Sunday. The weather was great, and I met a lot of new faces. I met a lot of familiar faces, as well.
I really enjoy the Loch Norman Games. I live in Charlotte close to Mint Hill, so making both Mint Hill and Loch Norman is easy for me.
I am seeking info. on the Grandfather Mountain Games. I have been told that a ticket to this event is for three days and costs about one-hundred dollars, and even if you can only make one day, one still has to purchase a three day pass. Is this true?

Lonewolf,
I glad you have found xmarks.
I have seen you at a couple of the games.
Although I did not get to meet you at Mint Hill.
As for Grandfather Mt., I think someone has not researched the
information they gave you.
Tickets can be purchased for a single day.
Tickets for all four days are $55.
$25 for Saturday games and Saturday night concert.
$15 for Sunday games.
You can get them at the foot of the Mt. or one of the other park and ride lots.

Thanks for the ticket info. on the Grandfather Mountain Games, Nelson.
That makes more sense than a mandatory three day pass for one hundred bucks.
