You might want to start another thread to ask if any SoCal guys want to go. I don't know if they'll check this thread for that invitation.
Either way, I hope to see you there.

I'm already there, and awaiting you all!
Plus, I think my son will be competing.

Every year....at least for the few years Prescott Games have been growing...I've been so impressed with the folks that promote it at other games I've wanted to check it out.
Every year on the same weekend....I'm on a spiritual retreat just up the hill on Mt. Mingus. Been doing that retreat annualy for nearly 20 years. Soooo hard to break away.
But, a couple of years ago I forgot my blood pressure meds and had to come down off the mountain to get some. Think it cost me $150 for two pills...if I can do that suppose I can make a surgical raid on the vendor tents and scan for rabble at the same time....

I will be there. Our pipe band is playing there and at the rodeo in Prescott this year.

Shades of Junior Bonner...a pipe band plays in the parade in the movie.

WooHoo! I'm going to make it. The wife took a day off of work and we are going to Prescott as a sort of anniversary trip (one year May 20th).

My mistake, no piping competitions.
We'll be there, though. I'll either be in my cassock and cross, or in my Robertson Red kilt!

Prester John, what class will your son be competing in? What's his name?

Yaish, I'd like to be able to shake your hand as well...how will I know you? I'll be the short old guy in the red MacQuarrie tartan in the "C" class...

Not sure of the kilt I'll be wearing yet, but I'll definitely be wearing my hat and shades. Look for this dude, tossing in the B's.
