Houston Scottish Highland Games and Celtic Festival Kick Off Ceilidh

The Tilted Kilt Pub
S. Hwy 6 just north of Westheimer @ Piping Rock
The Tilted Kilt serves a full menu of pub and American food and, more importantly, good beers on tap!
Some of the Games musicians will be at the ceilidh to play. If you have an insturment, and you can play it, bring it! Shuttle buses will be running from the Crowne Plaza Hotel to the Tilted Kilt for the convenience of our out of town guests. Scheudle will be posted in the hotel lobby.
This event is open to the public. So, feel free to forward this to friends and neighbors!

I'll be there, Zardoz!
And, for those going to the games/festival either Saturday or Sunday, you are welcome to my "MacIntyre" tent in the Clan Gathering area. I will have free bottled water, maybe a beer available, and definitely a draw of the water of life from my flask in trade for a draw on yours. X-Markers can also help me brainwash my nephew, who will be helping me that weekend, into getting his first kilt.

I shall be there, as well, resplendent in my Bermuda Blue Plaid. I'm volunteering out at the Games site on Friday, so I'll either be too tired to make it until 7pm or I'll be there at work-thirty, even though I won't be working, so to speak.

I missed out. Car wreck, but thankfully no one was hurt. Sorry to miss out. I still made it to the games, though, although I missed most of the morning. I was VERY happy to have nephew come out for the very first time sporting a new tattoo featuring the clan motto, "Per Ardua" and "Mac an t-Saior" (MacIntyre) along with a couple of rampant lions.
