Yes it's the law we have to answer a skill testing question (mathmatical). It's extremely archaic but still on the books. They usually are overly simple in that you have to add, subtract, multiply and devide in the same question. To save time and brain cells they usually whisper the answer so that you can write it down. heaven forbid that I ever win millions in the lottery... "What's the square root of infinity?"

Actually, I don't think you have to answer a skill testing question if you win the lotto because you pay to play it. Basically it's gambling. I could be wrong though.
