    Clann An Drumma 'countries of the world' festival spain

    Just thought i would post up a wee camcorder video of clann an drumma performing at a festival in Spain.

    At least somewhere had a bit of nice weather

    Always good to see Scotland represented around the world

    I caught them when they were in Singapore. Powerful and energetic performance.

    Now where's that CD I bought...

    In the last ten years (or so), I have really developed a taste for the primal/tribal music. Overall, I have drifted more toward basic instruments & stripped-down arrangements. Flogging Molly isn't really simple, but Social Distortion is. Poi Dog Pondering is lush & layered and I still love 'em, but the accoustic is beautiful and honest.
    What's more basic than drums & pipes? (rhetorical)
