    It all depends on your preference because that third strap really is useless. It is there for looks. If you like the look, then get it. If not, then skip it. I have two kilts, one has the three straps, the other only has two. It honestly doesn't matter to me one way or another, as long as there are straps and no velcro, I'm happy.
