    You don't need any roots to enjoy Scottish country dancing, which is a great pastime practiced by thousand all around the world.

    My local club is 85% French, and most of them have never even been to Scotland.
    In Japan, the dancers are probably 100 % Japanese, but that does not stop them from having a good time.

    Wings on the feet are more useful than roots. Have you ever seen a tree dance? Have you ever seen a tree look as happy as an SCD-er?
