Although I already have a large crowd of my fellow Canadians making the trip I'd like to extend an invite to all the rest of you Hosers to make the trip as well, come on down! Bring beer, the Coleman stove, and some back bacon!
Look for the Canadian and Ontario flags flying proudly in the family camping area...that'll be my site!

Ohhh ... where ... when .. is the schedule out already??? I missed Hanna Montana and wanted to make this one! ;-)
On a serious note, if the government ever sends me my stimulus check, I may just try to make it to the Mountain.

I had made the difficult decision not to attend GMFG this year. But in reading this thread, I've decided I gotta go! I've made my camping reservations. After all, it was at last year's GMFG that I stumbled on some Salitre T shirts and sweaters with the inscription XMarkstheScott.com at the Clan MacBubba tent. I wonder what that website was about so when I got home checked it out and here I be!

I made the camping reservations months ago. The kids and I will be there. The wife doesn't like this sort of thing. (If I got a hotel, she might think about it) My question is, how will we recognize each other? Is there some way to let everyone know we're Xmarkers?

The best strategy is a meeting place and time as Turpin suggested earlier in the thread. MacMoose usually has to stay close to the Lumsden tent, so that would probably be a good spot to meet. How 'bout it Moose?

Aye, Turpin! I'm arriving late Thursday and will be pulling out Sunday afternoon. I'll be on the family side, too. My tent will be flying the Saltire and Rampant Lion. (One of many, I know.)

Alas, the Lumsden's will not be represented this year at GMHG. I will be the lone Lumsden, and the Clan is going through some upheaval, and are not willing to pay for the tent fees, so I am going to be unfettered and roaming free. Fair warning.
I find a good meeting spot is at the program booth, as you head towards the main gate. Everyone has to go by it, and it is hard to miss. It is also rarely busy, so a gaggle of kilted rabble will not be hindering their business.
