Having read the Wikipedia article... I still would need an interpreter. This music is similar to [other music you haven't heard of] except that it's different [in technical ways that you don't understand] and in those ways is more similar to [other music you aren't familiar with].

Congratulations on the new names, though.

Yeah, got tired of typing a super-long username whenever I'd log in. Trying to get down to two usernames. One for car forums (and other forums), and one for the kilt forums. Need to simplify my life...

That's Sporranos, and many of the people that were involved in that relinquished the name a couple of years back and left it for Freelander and Sten Rune, the two that started the name, and their fledgling sporran business. I think Freelander and Sten Rune are the only two still remaining. It is funny that Rufus and myself started the name 4 years ago to take the piss out of David who kept telling us about how he was watching the latest DVD set of the "Sporranos" while the 3 of us were in the long gone Xmarks Chat room. We knew what he meant, but it took some time for him to catch on. That's why I always wanted a Freelander Sporran. Those guys apparently live, breathe, and only think about sporrans

I think I still have a Sporranos shirt kicking around somewhere.

I still have a couple of Sporranos t-shirts that I wear on occasion. Really messes people up when they read them.

Well, "Clockwork" is for my love of classic science fiction, steam- and clock-punk, and dystopian fiction, and John is my baptismal name.
