Neck Tie Popularity at All Time Low

I don't wear ties very often simply due to the fact that I don't find myself in a setting that would warrant wearing a tie. On the other hand I have no problem putting one on if I think the event/situation calls for one.

I'm much the same way myself. Since my job doesn't require one, I don't wear one. And, in my day to day life I don't need to get dressed up very often. But occasionally, I like to put one on for the right occasion.

Sad news, I rather like ties.

I don't know, there's just something counter-intuitive about voluntarily putting a noose-like article about one's own neck.
