I made my B&B reservations for this event back in March. This will be my first trip to the Loon Mountain games.

We will be there all week-end. Staying across the street from the Games. Too many years of last minute planning, staying far away or making it a day trip. We miss much of the Games.
I do plan on attending one (at least one!) of the Whisky tastings but haven't decided which one. They always sell out!!! Noon on Sat may make for a good lunch!!!
As it gets closer, we should make plans to all meet up!
I always try to make it up there. In the past I've accompanied the 74th Reg. as the Captain's man-servant (I pleat his plaid and then help him into it) and will probably do so again this year, at least I hope to. I'll look forward to meeting some X-Markers

Due to my work schedule, I will only be there on Sunday. I hope to meet some X-Markers as well. Believe we will have a record turnout.

I found these photos from 2000
That's the Capt in the background. He made the waistcoat and the "Rob Roy" coat. I made the rest. The plaid is the Govt. Sett. I'm not really that fat, the bulk of the plaid is stuffed up inside the frock
I had just handed my fiddle to the "Modern" and he played it way better than I.
