    It's a shame, really.

    I wonder how long it will be before EU regulations require all of the old castles to be brought up to modern building codes or be torn down...

    Nice pics Alec, I was once lucky enough to get close with the BBMF Dakota its a lovely Aircraft, when I did my qualifying cross country I few from Liverpool, Blackpool, Halfpenny Green, Liverpool , Blackpool was a great little airport, nice pics

    Great Pictures Alex!! The Dakota is a great aircraft I once parachuted out of one for a WW2 jump reenactment.

    Blasted bureaucracy!

    It is so sad that vintage aircraft such as the "Gooney Bird" have to be made subject to 21st century rules and regulations.

    Never got a chance to fly Concorde and now looks like I will never have the chance to fly in a DC3 either.
