Thank you That would be the Graham of Mantieth my Family Tartan, at least one of the Clan Tartan's I really love the subtle blues and greens in it.

I find that collecting sticks are as addictive as kilts and sporrans and also a personal taste thing.I have a few but they're not as good some of these being shown, nice work and a great thread.
Tell me about the boots, now they look good also they seem to go so well with the great kilt.

Walking Stick
Here is a picture of me and Tomo at the Ballater Highland Games last year. The stick was made for me by Robert Cardno of Caldedonia Sticks near Aberdeen. The carving on the end of the crook is an antique mortar, which is the crest from my Coat of Arms.

My next walking stick is going to be of plum wood. You will have to wait a while for pictures as I just cut it off the tree barely two months ago. I'll look at it this time next year and see how it has hardened up and if I can start working on it.
Otherwise sometime in 2010...
