Bruce, first of all, welcome to X Marks. Secondly: Alas, no, I am not!
Have you ever listed out the previous 89 on the board for us all to peruse?
No, I've not listed all 89 - maybe I did a few years back when there were possibly only 25 or so in The Kilt Kollection. My photo album has always been a point of reference but, just at the moment it is undergoing a 'behind the scenes' make-over. Thanks to Steve, the technical side has been taken care of, now it's down to me to deal with the content. All I need is more hours in each day - and less starting of nonsense threads such as this one!!
My guess, it's a Tartan Army tartan used by the football (soccer) fans or, if you'll allow me a second bite at the juniper berry, a Scottish Rugby Union (SRU) tartan?
Am I even close?
'Fraid not, Bruce. I've had a Kinloch Anderson Breacan in the 'Tartan Army' tartan since 1998, and the RFU does not appeal to me very much.
Tanks for trying though.
Take care,
Ham.

Hamish, are we going to see the grand unveiling of the new kilt at Harpenden Gathering?
Are you really going to keep us all in suspense for another sixteen days?

Ham,
Thanks for replying! Well, if you aren't super-rich, you must really love your kilts, that's for sure!
I only have the one, my Fraser Hunting kilt, and am pleased to say that my stepson, aged 11, wears a McDonald one, being a Howe by birth. My wife has just bought a ladies kilted skirt, Ancient Dress Fraser, for her brother's wedding which we are attending in the Czech Republic in August.
So, it'll be three lots of tartan on display!
I'll be following this thread avidly to see what your new one turns out to be!
Cheers
Bruce

I'm going to go with either a MacHair tartan (because I believe it would go good with what he's wearing) or maybe a Weathered MacKenzie.
But Alas, I just want to know at this point.

Hmmm, I am surprised that Brad has not piped in with a weathered Henderson!
"A veteran, whether active duty, retired, national guard or reserve, is someone who, at one point in his life, wrote a blank check made payable to "The United States of America", for an amount of "up to and including my life." That is honor, and there are way too many people in this country who no longer understand it." anon

Hamish,
I would have said the red Gordon weathered if I didn't know you'd already got that one.
May I add to Alex's suggestion for a grand unveiling at the Harpenden Gathering. This will ensure Xmarkers from all over the world will attend in order to discover the secret!
