X Marks Clan Crest Badges going out

I got mine today and it was a nice wee present after a long journey to London and back for some surgery stuff.

I am surprised by just how high the quality is. None of the usual 'bendy' pewter that you get in crests of a similar price. These are solid, heavy, well made and they look good.

Here's a picture of it on my Macdonald modern Kilt next to my more usual Kilt pin. (Which is just under 4 inches long.)

I'll post some better pictures of it on my cap and with me in the picture later.

I like the X-Marks clan crest badge, but what I'm really waiting for is another run of the original X-Marks kilt pins (the one with the X surrounded by the celtic knot wreath). Are there any plans to bring those back?

There were problems finding a manufacturer that could both replicate the pin and produce a model with decent welds for the pin backs. Until we can do so we won't be offering the kilt pin. The XMTS badge is being produced by a well known and respected manufacturer. The quality of the badge impressed Steve (and he is a fussy grouchy engineer type). Believe me, if Steve is impressed then this is a really nice pin.
